What should I do if I feel nervous about the procedure?
If you’re feeling particularly anxious, Reigate Smiles provide IV sedation dentistry, which will assist you in overcoming your fears and allow you to undergo the procedure in comfort. Sedation dentistry will enable you to relax completely, as you will feel almost no pain throughout the surgery.
Will the surgical extraction hurt me?
Due to powerful anaesthetics and sedatives, modern tooth extraction methods are much less painful than ever before. While there may be minor bleeding, you will likely experience little to no pain.
Before beginning the process, the dentist will numb the area surrounding the tooth with a topical and injectable anaesthetic.
